As I reflect on the faculty and administration at Los Encinos School, I am reminded of how our community benefits from their impressively broad range of knowledge, experience, and perspective. Individually, their interests are diverse and rich and add to the fabric of everyday life at our School.
Our faculty consists of classroom teachers, specialty teachers and assistant teachers. The kindergarten and first grade classes are staffed with two teachers, while the other classes are staffed with a teacher and full-time assistant teacher. All classroom teachers are credentialed and many hold advanced degrees. Members of both the faculty and administration participate in regular professional development through conferences, workshops, and in-service training.
We are united by a life-long dedication to learning and a true love and respect for children. We share the belief in the value of a solid academic preparation, sound moral and ethical principals, and each child’s ability to succeed.
I feel fortunate to call these professionals my colleagues. Together, we focus on a great variety of issues and tasks all connected to making a difference in lives of children. I find it rewarding to help shape the future of Los Encinos School and its students.
