The process gives our students a greater perspective of the world and their place in it. There is a different focus project at each grade level designed to broaden students’ horizons and viewpoints.
At Los Encinos School the Service Learning program connects our school community with the local and global world. As students explore the needs within these communities they problem solve, think critically, collaborate, create and implement action plans. The process gives our students a greater perspective of the world and their place in it. There is a different focus project at each grade level designed to broaden students’ horizons and viewpoints. There are multiple opportunities for experiential learning, research, writing, public speaking, and reflection. Upon graduation our students matriculate to Middle School as global citizens and change agents.
